Training Course:
Evenness Testing and its Applications in Filament Yarn Industry
Summary:
Principle of evenness testing on USTER TESTERS 3-C and 4-CX; function check, operation and maintenance; sampling procedure; optimum setting procedure; routine tests and special tests; comparability and reproducibility of test results; the interpretation and application of Cut Length and Half Inert Test; the interpretation and application of CVm% and the diagram and variance-length curve charts; a brief introduction to the interpretation and application of spectrogram charts; a brief introduction to the application of USTER STATISTICS. This course is recommended for anyone who operates USTER TESTERS 3-C and 4-CX, or interprets and uses evenness data from USTER TESTERS. It is suitable for filament producers, testing organizations and their equivalents. Participants are encouraged to bring their own filament samples to this course for carrying out optimum setting procedure in Uster laboratory.
