To provide accurate and reliable results for multifilament testing, we especially utilized a unique twister. This twister operates by speeds up to 800 m/min and is continuously adjustable. Unique sensor technology –

Especially in fast running production processes, it is absolutely essential that there are no unbalanced winding positions. Already the slightest deviations can result in periodic defects. Periodic or nearly-periodic mass variations due to defective rotating machine parts, e.g., gears from the spinning pump, can be detected with the spectrogram. |

The variance-length curves of the filament with the quality characteristics allow a comparison of different tests or different cut lengths. The variance-length curve of an ideal filament yarn is a straight line in a diagram with a double-logarithmic scale.
