The Yarn Classification System

USTER^® CLASSIMAT QUANTUM is based on the successful USTER^® QUANTUM technology and offers even more advanced classification possibilities compared to previous generations. For the first time, foreign fibers and vegetables can be reliably classified. Foreign fibers are classified into 27 classes according to the FOREIGNCLASS^®, recognized worldwide. The USTER^® CLASSIMAT QUANTUM also gives the possibility to define new customized classes called “Tailored classes”. With the introduction of the USTER^® STATISTICS 2007, the USTER^® CLASSIMAT QUANTUM is the only international classification standard accepted worldwide.
