Corona virus impact
Status update as of 19.03.2020
To ensure safety from the pandemic and comply with the latest guidelines from Governments and other authorities, there will be some changes to our normal operations. Of course, our absolute priority is the health and safety of everyone, especially our own employees.
We have reinforced safety and hygiene precautions across all our locations. In the new circumstances, as many employees as possible will be working from home, to minimize the risk of further spread of the virus.
Travel by Uster Technologies personnel is being highly restricted during March and April, but we will do our utmost to keep in touch, to assist partners and customers when required. This means we will make increasing use of remote communications and online meetings (Skype, Teams etc.), exploring all the technology options to maintain support and progress with running projects. These new arrangements may present some challenges – but we are determined to manage and deliver projects as well as we can.
Uster Technologies is continuously monitoring its supply chain situation and has already implemented contingency measures to minimize impact and ensure that deliveries to customers are maintained worldwide. Despite the many challenges, currently, we continue to fulfill customer orders as they come in, to the committed dates. Since the situation is quite dynamic, we are closely monitoring it and adapting as required and possible, while keeping our partners informed.
We are strongly convinced that we will master this challenge as a global community and as a company. We share the hope that this outbreak will end sooner than predicted, and promise that Uster Technologies will be working flat out, as always, to meet the expectations of our valued customers and partners.
