The Total Testing Center

Accurate laboratory test results from the USTER® TESTER 6 are the starting point. Then, real-time data from yarn clearers is added and even more benefits are possible as further USTER® instruments are connected to the system. All this information is integrated by the USTER® QUALITY EXPERT management tool – for direct analysis in the Total Testing Center.

Assistant Q

The Total Testing Center makes mill management faster and easier, thanks to the Assistant Q’s help. This is a clever support – like acquiring a new staff member with 65 years’ USTER know-how.

Features

New CS sensor

At the heart of the USTER® TESTER 6 is the new digital Capacitive Sensor CS for evenness and imperfection measurement. It’s more accurate and reliable than ever – with the technology to handle even greater requirements in future.

Product Consistency Alert

The new Product Consistency Alert flags up potential problems in advance. It warns spinners about potential issues caused by changes in raw material, yarn structure or yarn count. And it can be fully customized for each mill’s specific material and process conditions.

New HL sensor

USTER® TESTER 6 also features a new Sensor HL, for hairiness length classification. The unique measuring principle is based on the real length of the protruding fibers. Combined with the established hairiness Sensor OH, it gives spinners the total picture of hairiness, for the first time.

User-friendly features

Laboratory staff will appreciate the designed-in ergonomics and superb touchscreen interface, making it intuitive and user-friendly. A valuable extra benefit is the powerful quality package for complete fiber-to-yarn engineering. All backed by built-in USTER knowledge for better and faster identification of issues.
